Three people are dead after a double murder-suicide on Cleveland's east side.
Cleveland Police were called to the 1700 block of Hillview Road just before 11 p.m. Monday night. They arrived to find three people, including a 6-year-old girl, shot outside of the home. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the victims as 24-year-old Demar Perry, 22-year-old Nakisha Jackson and 6-year-old Kammia Perry.
Police believe the incident is a result of a domestic dispute that spilled outside onto the front porch and yard of the home. That's where they say Demar Perry shot his ex-girlfriend, Nakisha Jackson, and their young daughter before turning the gun on himself.
"This really hit home, just seven houses down from where I live. And it just make you say, do I have to come home armed? When I come home at night when I work?" said neighbor Thalles Stanley, Jr. "It's serious. And just for a baby to be taken away like that and her mom, it's just senseless."
Sources tell 19 Action News that the victims all suffered gunshot wounds to the head.
Three others were able to escape from the home unharmed.
