MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - An investigation is underway after an explosion destroyed a vacant home in Maple Heights on Tuesday.
The house exploded in the 6000 block of Dunham Road shortly after 12:30 p.m.
A neighbor tells 19 Action News the explosion was so powerful, it rocked her out of the bathtub.
Officials say a natural gas leak inside the home did contribute to the explosion.
Dunham Road between Rockside and Turney reopened to traffic early Wednesday morning.
