No charges for husband of woman who stole from soccer club

19 Action News has learned there won't be any charges for Julie Lauter's husband.  He's the one who is actually the Soccer Club treasurer, and is also a Parma Heights Police Captain.

Charges were filed Thursday against Lauter for stealing money from a suburban kids soccer club, the Parma Heights Travel Soccer Club.

Her husband had been taken off the job as this was investigated and put on paid leave, but no charges were filed against him.

Prosecutors say they only have evidence leading to his wife.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors have indicted Julie Lauter on charges of grand theft and money laundering.

Investigators say she swindled about $10,000 before this was discovered.

According to the Prosecutor's office, the couple has a child in the soccer club.  They also say Lauter spent some of the money she stole on a family vacation to Disney.

Investigators say they have her on camera taking money out of the Club account at bank machines. We're told she even spent some of the money during a family vacation at Disney World.
