A few showers out ahead of a cold front will come to an end early this morning. Expect a partly cloudy and cooler afternoon. Behind this front temperatures will stay on the cool side with highs in the low-to-mid 70s Saturday. We'll stay dry with temperatures in the mid 70s into Monday before the next weak disturbance brings an isolated shower or t-storm on Tuesday.

brawl nearly broke out at the funeral Thursday for the toddler killed at the Moody Manor apartments. It appears the toddler's mother was the one targeted but no one was hurt. Keondra Hooks was killed after 12 bullets went through the glass door at the Moody Manor Apartment she was staying at. Hooks' 2-year-old sister Leondra was also hit, leaving her in serious condition. Family, friends and even the mayor came together to pay tribute to Hooks. Family members were able to grieve and said they have been able to pull through with prayer and the support of one another. "Very trying, heartbreaking, the grieving process is endless, and so our job is to come and comfort the family, but also spark a fire, a light to our community as well," said Pastor Radall Parker.

Eating eggs could be just as bad as smoking, depending on how many you eat. A new study suggests just three egg yolks per week can accelerate heart disease almost as much as smoking. The study's lead author said while the general public believes smoking is far worse for your health, smoking and eating cholesterol both increase cardiovascular risks. The results show patients who ate three or more yolks each week had significantly more plaque in their arteries than patients who ate fewer than three per week.
