Residents evacuated after an apartment building fire on Cleveland's west side.

Flames broke out around 10:30 a.m. Friday at a three-story building in the 3300 block of Archwood Avenue.

Smoke alarms were working and were still going off when our crews arrived.

Two residents suffered minor smoke inhalation, one was taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but firefighters pulled a mattress out of a first floor apartment.

Red Cross has been called out to assist the residents.
