She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with MS.
Her disease became progressively worse after the birth of her first daughter.
Kym cannot move the limbs of her body, but she can talk.
Kym continues to hold down a full time job as the host of The Quiet Storm on WZAK 93.1 FM weekend evenings.
Kym founded the Kym Seller Foundation to help raise money and awareness about this very debilitating disease.

We also discussed that MS is the most common neurological disorder diagnosed in young adults.
The disease cannot be cured or prevented at this time, although treatments are available to reduce the severity and to delay progression.
MS is not contagious, and in general, usually does not shorten one's life expectancy.
MS is a disease of the central nervous system which consists of the brain, optic nerves and spinal cord.
