BEREA, OH (WOIO) - The Browns wrapped up training camp on Wednesday, and it ended with a bang. In fact, it ended early for their best defensive player, as Joe Haden was dismissed early for being too physical in a non-contact drill.
It happened about an hour into the morning session, when Haden took down wide receiver Travis Benjamin by his jersey. Head coach Pat Shurmur, who's trying to avoid further injuries (13 players sat out practice on Wednesday), didn't like that, and he and Haden exchanged words, after which Haden took off his pads and headed into the locker room.
Shurmur wouldn't talk about the exchange following practice, telling reporters they'd have to read about it on Twitter.
