Hernandez Leaves Early, Tribe Shut Out Again

Cleveland (WOIO) - Another night, another loss, and another injury.  Such is life in 2012 for the Indians, as they fell to the A's at Progressive Field on Monday night, 3-0.

Roberto Hernandez, making just his third start of the season, was knocked out in the third inning with a sprained right ankle.

The A's had already put two on the board by then, with Seth Smith's sacrifice fly to center in the first inning making it a 1-0 game, and Josh Reddick's solo home run in the second doubling the lead.

Hernandez was charged with the third and final run later in the third, when Chris Carter ingled home Stephen Drew.

The Indians managed only two hits in the loss.
