Indians Reach Record Low With Another Loss

Cleveland (WOIO) - Another night, another loss, and another low for the Indians.  Wednesday's 8-4 loss to the A's leaves the Tribe 5-22 in the month of August, the most losses they've suffered in one month since 1938.

Jason Donald staked the Indians to a 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the third, and Jason Kipnis doubled that lead with a fielder's choice in the third, before the A's took control.

Josh Donaldson provided the first big blow, a three-run home run in the fourth, and the A's poured it on from there.

The Indians have lost 26 of their past 31 games.
