The Parma Heights soccer mom accused of ripping off a local soccer club went before a judge on Thursday morning.

Julie Lauter pleaded not guilty to charges she stole $10,000 from the travel team.

From January 1, 2011, to June 30, 2011, the 42-year-old allegedly made unauthorized transactions and purchases using the Parma Heights Travel Soccer Club team account.

Board Members of the Soccer Club discovered the league account was in the negative and the financial reports prepared were falsified.

Lauter allegedly used the club debit card to make repeated withdrawals of cash from an ATM and for personal purchases which totaled $10,000.

Her husband, Gary Lauter, is the club treasurer and a captain with the police department. He's not facing any charges.
