PORTAGE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Portage County Drug Task Force Officers say they found 90 marijuana plants in the home of Brett Pesicek, 42, owner of the All American Concrete Company.
According to Portage County Sheriff David Doak, members of the Portage County Drug Task Force executed a court ordered search warrant at Pesicek's Gotham Road residence following a several month long investigation.
Task Force Agents located in the basement of the residence a false wall concealing an indoor grow operation where the 90 marijuana plants were recovered and seized. These plants varied in size from starter plants to 5 foot tall. In addition, sophisticated grow equipment to include power supplies, lights, fans, filters and humidifiers along with other drug paraphernalia was recovered.
Pesicek lived at the residence with his 18 and 12 year old sons.
Pesicek is charged with cultivating and trafficking Marijuana, a felony of the 2nd degree and endangering children, a felony of the 3rd degree.
Task Force Agents will seek additional charges once the case is reviewed by the Portage County Prosecutors Office and evidence is presented to a Grand Jury.
Portage County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Portage County Sheriff's Office and Prosecutors Office, Cities of Aurora, Kent and Streetsboro Police Departments, Villages of Garrettsville and Windham Police Departments and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
