Plain Dealer delivery drivers robbed of cars

(WOIO) - Police are investigating after two Cleveland Plain Dealer delivery cars were stolen early Thursday morning.

The first incident happened shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Ormiston Street in Euclid. The 65-year-old delivery worker exited his vehicle to put a paper in a mailbox. The victim tells police he first saw his car rolling backwards, then quickly speed down the street. The carrier was not injured.

The second happened at 5:40 a.m. in Cleveland on East 118th Street and Windward Road. The suspect carjacked the Plain Dealer worker.

The 25-year-old woman tells police she was in her car, when a young man came up to her window, pulled a gun and said "I am taking this car."  She got out and started screaming, while the suspect fled in her car.
