EASTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - An astute WalMart worker helps nab a repeat shoplifter in Eastlake.
41-year-old William M. Hairson was arrested for felony grand theft on Wednesday.
This, after an employee recognized Hairson from the Eastlake Police Department's Facebook page.
Hairston, along with a 51-year-old man from Wickliffe, left the area in a vehicle which officers stopped on SR 2.
The men were placed under arrest. The Wickliffe man was charged with petty theft for his role in the theft, and Hairston is accused of committing at least three thefts from the store.
The value of the stolen merchandise is estimated to be $3,074.43.
