Cleveland Police were looking for a 6-year-old female who was reported missing from Cleveland's east-side. She was located in the 2400 block of E. 110th Street Saturday morning and was debriefed by officers.
Police say she spent the night at a friend's house.
Lanay Pope was reported missing by her mother Latoya Pope on Friday, September 14. Lanay Pope is describe as a black female 4', 85 lbs, black hair and brown eyes, wearing a white hooded jacket, blue pants and a pink shirt.
Cleveland Police learned of her missing status on Friday, September 14, at 9:16 p.m.,when her mother notified police that she last saw the missing juvenile at 6:00 p.m., outside of their residence on E. 110th playing with neighborhood children.
At 8:00 p.m., she checked for the missing juvenile and could not locate her and notified police after she checked the neighborhood and could not locate the missing juvenile.
Police issued an alert to the media around 4:30 a.m., she was located a few hours later. She was taken to Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital for evaluation.
