Police name suspect in drive-by on Cleveland's west side

Cleveland Police were called to 3330 Walton Avenue Saturday night for a report of four people shot.  Once on scene, officers found six victims.

Police say all of the victims were in the area of 3330 Walton when a white Ford Explorer drove down the street and fired numerous shots hitting the victims then fled.

Police tell 19 Action News they are now looking for Tyrese King in connection to the shooting.

Officers toured the area for the suspect vehicle and located the unoccupied Explorer at W. 41st and Cloud Avenue. The vehicle was towed in connection with the Felonious Assault Shooting.

All six victims were conveyed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where they are being treated for their injuries. The extent of victims' injuries are unknown at this time however, there are no reported fatalities.

One of the victims was Cassandra Yanetta.  Her mother tells us she still doesn't know what happened, just that her daughter is lucky to be alive, "The bullet lodged in her muscle and her hip bone."

There's an elementary school across the street where the shooting happened, neighbors say there are always kids outside playing there.

"If they don't start watching these areas where the little kids are playing, these little kids are going to end up in body bags," one woman said.
