ALLIANCE, OH (WOIO) -

Police have now released a photo of Mt. Union College students busted in a marijuana sting Wednesday.

Special Investigations Unit detectives of the Alliance Police Department executed a search warrant at 352 Hartshorn Street after a two week investigation into illegal drug sales from the dorm room.

The search warrant led to consent searches of three more dorm rooms nearby - all resulting in the seizure of more marijuana packaged for sale, pills, scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested were Victor Schade, Blake Miller and Jonathan Delapa on charges of alleged trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. This cluster of arrests are believed to be an isolated incident and not part of any large drug problem at the college - which has not had drug issues of significance in the past -even with the Alliance Police Department's very proactive drug unit.

Detectives say they will remain vigilant, to make sure the community's local colleges stay a drug free and safe environment for our children and students.

The students are due in court Friday.
