KENT, OH (WOIO) -

A Kent State University advisory has been issued about an electrical fire at Tri Towers building that has caused an evacuation of the Tri Towers Rotunda.

The fire was a result of an electrical fault in the underground distribution in an electrical room in Tri Towers Rotunda.

There was smoke, but no flames and no injuries.

Power will be shut off to Deweese Health Center, Harbart and Van Campen as workers explore the cause and work on repairs.

Power is expected to be restored around 2:30 p.m.
