New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick will be fined $50,000 for making physical contact with an official, CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman reports.
Belichick took issue with a last-second field goal by Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker that gave the Ravens a 31-30 win over New England on Sunday. The 27-yard kick went to the right and appeared to pass directly over the right upright.
Referees ruled it was good, and Belichick approached the officials as they left the field. He appeared to yell, "Stop" and grabbed an official's arm. The official didn't break stride, leaving Belichick behind.
On Monday, Belichick said that he was trying to get an explanation from the official on whether or not the kick had been reviewed.
