The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation is attempting to create a central cold case database to address unsolved crimes.
Among cases to be highlighted under the effort is the Ashtabula County murder of Raymond Kotomski by antifreeze poisoning in 2009. The cause of death had been ruled "undetermined." BCI was asked to investigate earlier this year and is now seeking the public's help in finding the killer.
Cuyahoga County prosecutors recently charged a woman for an old anti-freeze murder. Now the Kotomski family is looking for justice as well.
