NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OH (WOIO) - North Ridgeville police say they have one burglary suspect in custody and a second suspect remains on the loose. Police were on high alert in wake of a series of daytime and nighttime home burglaries.
On Monday morning, a resident on Laurel Circle called police, saying two men came to her house, asking for someone who didn't live there. The resident became suspicious and called police.
When Officers arrived in the neighborhood, they attempted to pull over the car. The two suspects then jumped out and ran. One suspect, a 17-year-old male, was arrested, the second suspect remains on the loose.
Officers also say stolen property was found in the car.
Last week, the Clear Creek Drive and Cambridge Drive area was burglarized. Homestead Vineyards off of Jaycox Road had also been hit in the daytime.
