INDEPENDENCE, OH (WOIO) - The city of Independence makes good on a threat to tear down a protest sign in front of a resident's house.
Leo Glaser has issues with the city over educating his deaf children. So he put up the sign calling the city the "Kingdom of Independence." Listed on it are people involved or mentioned in the Cuyahoga County Corruption investigation.
The sign was been in Glaser's yard for months.
Independence cited Glaser because the sign is in violation of city's sign ordinance, and ordered him to remove it. He refused, so the sign was taken down on Monday while Glaser was at work.
Glaser put the sign back up on Tuesday, and claims the sign is within his constitutional rights.
