AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A woman was arrested in Akron after shots were fired during a disagreement between neighbors.
The incident was at about 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 in the 800 block of Barbara Avenue. Police responded to a call about shots fired.
A resident reported she was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with a neighbor. During the altercation, the neighbor fired a shot at the victim, missing the victim, and striking the victim's apartment where the bullet lodged into an interior wall. The victim's two small children were in the apartment at the time the shot was fired.
Officers arrested Tara R. Walker, 29, of Barbara Avenue. She was charged with four counts of felonious assault, improper discharging of a firearm into a habitation and tampering with evidence. Walker was booked into the Summit County Jail.
The gun was not recovered.
