BROOK PARK, OH (WOIO) - A man in a pickup approached two girls who were playing in a Brook Park driveway on Tuesday night.
Brook Park Police Chief James Foster said the incident happened at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 on Westbrook Drive.
"He basically asked how they were doing," Foster said. The father of one of the girls came out and confronted the suspect, who drove away.
The suspect was described as a man in his 40s with a beard. He was driving a gray pickup.
Foster said no other incidents of the type have been reported in Brook Park.
"We've been fortunate. We haven't had anything like this," Foster said. "We've been watching the area closely since. There is an elementary school in the area."
