Star power brought in to bolster presidential campaigns

A celebrity was in town today to encourage people to get out and vote.

Kimora Lee Simmons, model and star of Style Network's "Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane," attended a Ward 6 Early Vote Party on Saturday, Oct. 6 in Cleveland. Simmons, appearing in support of President Obama, urged people to vote early.

Earlier this week, members of rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony hosted a Get Out the Vote event on Thursday at the Obama campaign office in Glenville. Layzie Bone and Flesh-n-Bone are from Glenville and came back for a Bone Thugs-N-Harmony 20th anniversary show on Saturday.

The Romney camp will counter by bringing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie - said to be one of the more popular and influential members of the Republican National Committee - with the candidate when he returns to Ohio next week.
