The retired Cleveland Police Officer accused in a deadly shooting with his tenant, is now charged with aggravated murder.
Sgt. Dale Edwards was charged Thursday afternoon and he is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday morning.
Cleveland Police responded Wednesday afternoon to a deadly shooting at 3644 E. 151st.
Police say Antoine Graves, 25, and his landlord, Sgt. Edwards, were arguing over rent money.
Cleveland Police say during the argument Edwards, 60, produced a handgun and shot Graves in the chest.
Edwards called police and was eventually arrested.
EMS transported Graves to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died.
The shooting remains under investigation.
