Bring your friends and family to the Holden Arboretum for the fall foliage season! They’re opening its annual leaf trail a bit early this year in anticipation for what may be an early fall foliage season. The Holden Arboretum has such beautiful scenery, and great walking trails, its fun for everyone!
Each fall the leaf trail is set up through Holden’s gardens to provide an opportunity for visitors and students to practice identification skills, of mostly native trees. This is the only area of The Holden Arboretum where leaf collecting is permitted. The easy to navigate self guided trail covers approximately one mile through Holden’s main display garden and highlights over 32 different tree species. Some of the more interesting trees of note include Manchurian Striped Maple, Common Persimmon, Shingle Oak and Sweetbay Magnolia. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE
