Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden celebrated his 29th birthday in style on Sunday, with his first NFL win. He lead them past Cincinnati 34-24.
The defense also played a critical role in the victory, they forced three turnovers and sacked Bengal quarterback Andy Dalton twice. In the fourth quarter Sheldon Brown had an interception return for a touchdown and Billy Winn came up with a fumble recovery to seal the win.
Weeden passed for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Gordon caught three balls for 99 yards and a score.
In addition to breaking their 11 game NFL losing streak, Sunday's win also breaks a 12 game losing streak in their division.
The game was also the last game of the Randy Lerner era, Jimmy Haslam officially takes over on Tuesday.
