PORTAGE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - Sheriffs deputies say a student is in custody, accused of phoning in a bomb threat to his school.
It happened around 7:13 a.m. Monday at Waterloo School in Atwater. The school has grades K-12.
The school was immediately evacuated and more than a dozen deputies responded to the scene. No device was located and students were allowed back inside.
After several hours of investigating, detectives say they located the boy who phoned in the threat and arrested him.
The juvenile faces several charges, including inducing panic. His name and grade are not being released.
