As the NFL and the players suspended for the Saints bounty program continue to tangle with each other over the length of the players' suspensions, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Browns fear that the career of Scott Fujita, now a Cleveland linebacker, might be over because of a neck injury.
Fujita reportedly hurt his neck in Week 5, but for Week 6, Fujita was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. He ultimately didn't play in the Browns win against the Bengals.
Fujita, an 11-year veteran, has been adamant that he had nothing to do with the Saints bounty program, and originally, he was suspended for three games by Roger Goodell. Eventually, the punishment was reduced to one game, and Fujita had planned to appeal that.
