SANDUSKY, OH (WOIO) - Sandusky Police responded to 114 E. Follett St. just after 1 p.m., for a call of a woman that was found lying in a pool of blood.
The victim was later identified as Lorie Miller, 33. Cops say she was killed in the bathroom.
A suspect is in custody.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., 33-year-old Theodis Michael Keys, Jr., walked into the Erie County Sheriff's Office to turn himself in. Keys was driving a 1999 Ford Taurus, which was registered to the victim. The vehicle was towed from the Erie County Jail, to the Sandusky Police Department.
Keys and the victim were currently living together.
He was arrested and charged with murder. Keys is currently being held in the Erie County Jail.
Miller's cause of death will be released once the autopsy is complete.
