AKRON, OH (WOIO) - The Craigslist murder trial of Brogan Rafferty featured audio recordings on Thursday.
16-year-old Rafferty faces multiple charges, including four counts of murder.
Rafferty and 52-year-old Richard Beasley are accused of luring men to a farm in Noble County through a Craigslist ad that promised work.
Three men were killed, a fourth man was shot, but survived.
Prosecutors played a tape of their initial conversation with Rafferty in court. They confronted him at Stow High School. He was evasive at first as they pushed for details of his visits to Southern Ohio with Beasley.
At one point, Rafferty said it feels like you are making me dig a hole for myself. When they told them they would search his car, he said you need a warrant to do that. They told him they did. He then asked for a lawyer.
