Three Baldwin Wallace University students were arrested Friday morning after Berea Police raided their off-campus home on Front St. Officials say the students had a lab for making the drug ecstasy.

19 Action News was the only news crew on the scene when police raided the home.

Officials say the investigation began five months ago after a break in at a chemistry lab on the BW campus.

Arrested are Benjamin Knight, Lauren Pajerski and Max Sickovskis. They are all from Ohio, but there was no hometown listed on arrest documents.

Officials say they also found psychedelic mushrooms and a significant amount of evidence of marijuana use at the home. One official says he has never seen so many bongs outside of a head shop.

Berea police have called in a Bureau of Criminal Investigation team to dispose of the chemicals and drug-making equipment.

The Assistant VP and Director of University Relations for Baldwin Wallace University released this statement about the incident:

"We are aware of the police investigation and the off-campus action this morning involving three of our students. We are cooperating fully with that investigation and have been told that no charges have been filed at this point. The police also have asked that we not release any names or additional information at this time. Additionally, the University's own judicial code involves a rigorous internal process and extends to student behavior on and off-campus."
