Cleveland (WOIO) - Browns left guard Jason Pinkston was hospitalized this week because of a blood clot. He will miss Sunday's game against Indianapolis.
"As we go through next week, we'll determine if he's going to miss an extended period of time,'' said Browns head coach Pat Shurmur on Friday.
Pinkston had to leave last Sunday's game against Cincinnati because he wasn't feeling well.
John Greco will start for Pinkston on Sunday against the Colts. He noticed something wasn't right with Pinkston during the Bengals game.
"You could tell something was wrong,'' Greco said. "We're with him, I talk to him to every now and again to keep his spirits up and let him know we're with him.''
Pinkston was a fifth round selection of the Browns in the 2011 draft.
