Friday afternoon Michael McGrath, Chief of the Cleveland Division of Police, and Pete Elliott, U.S. Marshal for Northern Ohio, announced the arrest of a fugitive wanted on an Aggravated Murder warrant.

The arrested suspect is 19-year old Shaquille Crenshaw of Cleveland.

September 17, 20-year-old Andre Lawson was shot around 8:30 p.m. in the area of East 156th and Damon Avenue. He had been shot multiple times, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center were he was pronounced dead.

A second victim was shot in the arm and was treated at Euclid General Hospital.

The police investigation indicates that both victims were in the area of 15600 block of Damon Avenue when three men with a gun chased the victims.  As the suspects chased the victims, they fired numerous shots.  After the shooting, the suspects fled the scene.

This is the second arrest in this case.
