Former Browns first round draft pick quarterback Brady Quinn has been named the starting quarterback in Kansas City, former Browns and current Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel announced on Monday. He replaces Matt Cassel under center.
Quinn started in place of Cassel in Kansas City's last game against Tampa Bay. The former Notre Dame quarterback was 22 of 38 for 180 yards with two interceptions and a touchdown in a 38-10 loss.
The Chiefs, who are off to a 1-5 start, will play the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
Kansas City will play the Browns on December 9 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
