Gun-toting bicyclists shoot 17-year-old boy on Cleveland's east side

A 17-year-old boy was shot by three suspects on bikes on Cleveland's east side.

It happened Tuesday evening around 6:30 p.m. on E. 105th.

The preliminary police investigation reveals that the shooting victim, along with several others, were inside the Corey Recreation Center arguing. They were ordered to leave by an off-duty officer working at the center.

The males left the building, and as they were walking on E. 105th Street, they were approached by three males on bicycles. The males on bikes produced handguns, and fired multiple shots. The victim was hit once in the hip and rushed to Metro where he is being treated for his injuries.

It is unknown at this time if the males on the bicycles were involved in the earlier argument at the rec center.
