AKRON, OH (WOIO) - An Akron deli was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday morning.
It happened shortly after 8 a.m. at the Six Corner's Deli on Eastland Avenue.
The deli worker told police two men entered the deli. One suspect approached the counter, while the second man stood near the door. The suspect near the counter pulled out a handgun, racked a round into the chamber and demanded money from the register. The clerk opened the register and said she didn't have any money. The suspects fled the store southbound on Eastland Avenue. Nothing was reported taken.
The suspects are two black men. The first suspect is around 18-years-old, 6'01" - 6'02", and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans and light gray shoes. The second suspect is around 18-years-old, 6'01" - 6'02", and was wearing a dark gray or black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the left breast, possibly a knit hat, black, white and possibly blue shoes and a black cloth over his face.
