LAKE COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - According to the Lake County Sheriff's office, two males were arrested after suspicions were drawn by a deputy who was on patrol for the residential neighborhood of Lancaster Ct. on October 26, 2012 at 4:15 am.
It was confirmed that the pair stole items from two parked vehicles on Barchester Drive.
One of the suspects, a 17-year-old runaway from Concord Township, bolted after providing false information in an attempt to conceal his true identity when questioned by deputies.
He was quickly apprehended and booked into the Lake County Juvenile Court on charges of theft, escape, obstructing official business and criminal damaging.
The other suspect was an 18-year-old male identified as Jacob Kalista of Leroy Township.
He was booked into the Lake County Jail on misdemeanor counts of theft and obstructing official business.
