CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH (WOIO) - A 22-year-old Akron man busted breaking into a Cuyahoga Falls home early Thursday morning.
It happened at 4 a.m. on Akron Peninsular Road.
The homeowner awoke to loud noises in his kitchen. As the homeowner went to investigate, he discovered the man breaking out his door. The homeowner ran out of a side door and immediately called the cops.
When police arrived on scene, they found the south side kitchen door kicked in. Police went into the home and discovered the suspect, identified as Jacob S. Parker, asleep in the homeowner's bed. As officers attempted to arrest Parker, he awoke and started fighting with them. An officer tasered Parker to bring him under control.
Police also found a 2001 Mercury Cougar in the homeowner's driveway. The car driven by the suspect.
Parker is charged with burglary as well as resisting arrest.
