Buckeyes Take Fight Out Of Illini

Ohio State scored 24 points in the second quarter to open a big lead on Illinois, the went on to blow them out 55-22. The Buckeyes out gained the Illini 567-170 in total yards.

Carlos Hyde carried the ball 18 times for 137 yards and three touchdowns, all three scores came in the first half. Braxton Miller passed for 226 yards and two scores, he ran for 73 yards and another touchdown.

The Buckeyes improve to 10-0, they are off next week and play in Wisconsin on the 17th.
