WILLOUGHBY, OH (WOIO) -

On November 3, 2012 at 3:55 pm, the Tye Dye Sky Boutique in Willoughby was robbed for an undisclosed amount of cash.  Tye Dye Sky is located in the Freeway Plaza on Vine Street.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately in his late 30's, 5'06" to 5'08", 170 lbs with facial hair on his cheeks and chin.  He was seen wearing light blue denim jeans, a black jacket with a light grey hooded sweatshirt underneath, and a black knit ski cap with a horizontal red strip.

Witnesses say he walked up to the front counter, handed the cashier a note demanding all of the cash from the cash register and stated that he was armed with a gun.

The clerk complied by giving the suspect the cash from the register, afterwhich he then walked out of the store.  It is believed that the suspect left the store on foot as a vehicle was not seen.  An outdoor surveillance video showed the suspect walking towards Tye Dye Sky from the area of Vine Street and East 364th Street.

No one was injured during the robbery.
