Officers from the 2nd District have tracked down the vehicle involved in the September hit-skip of 12-year-old Katie Adkins that happened at W. 31st and Denison.
The driver turned himself in Tuesday and will be charged with aggravated vehicular assault and felony hit skip.
Katie spent two weeks in the hospital with a long list of injuries including blood on the brain, broken femur, pelvic fractures, cuts to the spleen, bruised lungs, and a broken jaw.
At the time, Katie's mother told us she was in a lot of pain.
The suspect's identity has not been released yet.
