(WOIO) - I-90 west will be closed during the day on Sunday, November 11 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Opt for the Alternate! Use I-77 south to I-490 west to I-90 west!
- On Saturday, November 10, the I-77 north ramp to I-90 east and the I-90 west ramp to I-77 south will each be restricted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. as paving takes place. The ramps will remain open, however delays are expected.
- On Sunday, November 11, I-90 west will be closed between I-77 and I-490 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Opt for the Alternate! Use I-77 south to I-490 west to I-90 west. Motorists traveling to Tremont or Ohio City should use the Lorain-Carnegie or Detroit-Superior Bridges.
- On Sunday, November 11, the I-77 north ramp to I-90 east and I-490 east ramp to I-77 north will each be restricted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ramps will remain open, however minor delays are expected.
- On Sunday, November 11, there will be lane restrictions on inbound Ontario between E 9th Street and Carnegie Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists traveling through the Carnegie/Ontario Intersection will continue to see roadwork and occasional reduced lanes on Ontario for approximately the next week as crews complete improvements at the intersection. Lane restrictions on Carnegie will continue through the fall as work takes place on both the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge and Tri-C parking deck.
Garfield Heights (Friday, November 9, 2012) – The right lane of SR 91 northbound over I-90 is closed until tomorrow morning, Saturday, November 10 at 6 a.m. for painting operations.
The South Marginal overpass above I-90 is closed for deck inspection and repairs until further notice. Eastbound drivers are detoured via SR 2 east to I-90 east. Westbound drivers are detoured via East 55th Street north to I-90 west to SR 2 west.
Through fall, crews will perform overnight lane closures on I-77 north and/or southbound between Wallings Road and I-80 in order to perform operations overhead. Oakes Road, Highland Drive, Snowville Road, Lacey Lane, Harris Road and Chestnut Road only minor operations remain. On Valley Parkway over I-77, two-way traffic is maintained utilizing a temporary signal until further notice.
I-90 remains open; however multiple ramps along the downtown corridor are closed or restricted as crews work to construct a new westbound I-90 Innerbelt Bridge. Visit www.Innerbelt.org for more information. The new bridge is expected to be open to traffic during the fall of 2013 with minor operations continuing through the winter.
I-480 Resurfacing, Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights, Bedford Heights & North Randall Continuing through mid-November, crews will close various lanes on I-480 eastbound ramp to I-271 northbound from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to perform various operations.
*UPDATED*I-480 Valley View Bridge Fence and Wall Repair, Garfield Heights, Independence, Valley View… Overnight Sunday, November 11 through Tuesday, November 13, crews will close one lane on I-480 eastbound on the Valley View Bridge from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform work on the bridge. Overnight Wednesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 15, crews will close one lane on I-480 westbound on the Valley View Bridge from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. in order to perform work on the bridge. On Saturday, November 17, crews will close the right lane on I-480 eastbound on the Valley View Bridge from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in order to perform lighting work on the bridge. Daytime and overnight lane closures are expected on I-480 east and westbound on the Valley View Bridge as crews complete fence and lighting repair operations. The right berm will be closed on I-480 east and westbound on the Valley View Bridge until mid-November. The entire project repairs the fence and parapet walls on I-480 east and westbound on the Valley View Bridge.
East 88th Street between Bessemer Avenue and Union Avenue is open. Work continues to extend Bessemer Avenue between East 87th Street and East 88th Street. Local access is maintained.
The southbound Warrensville Center Road entrance ramp to I-480 westbound opened on Wednesday, November 7. Warrensville Center Road, over I-480, is reduced to one lane in each direction. All lanes of I-480 east and westbound at Warrensville Center Road are shifted to the right in order to perform work on the Warrensville Center Road bridge. This project replaces the bridge, including the elimination of two bridge piers which will allow for additional lanes of traffic on I-480. Overnight lane closures on I-480 east and westbound are expected. A seven-day closure of various ramps will take place. Details will be forthcoming.
