Court date for Bainbridge man accused of pandering child porn

ALLEN WARNER ALLEN WARNER

The Bainbridge man accused of pandering child porn was in court on Friday.

Bond of $250K was set for Allen Warner. If released on bond, he must be placed on home detention.

Between February 1, 2002 and October 17, 2012, Warner, 59, created, downloaded, transported and/or shared files containing child pornography.

Warner's case was ultimately uncovered when an investigator with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, working in an undercover capacity, responded to an anonymous Internet ad. In the ad, Warner indicated that he was looking for adults to share secretly recorded videos of their "loved ones" in a state of nudity or sexual acts.

He also indicated that he had secretly been recording family members and wanted to share and/or trade the images. On October 17, Warner arrived at a prearranged location thinking he was meeting a father who was willing to record his own daughters nude. Warner showed the investigator the surveillance equipment that he had brought, which included alarm clocks and DVD players containing hidden cameras.

Warner was arrested by members of the Ohio ICAC Task Force with assistance from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and the Parma Police Department on October 17.
