Berea (WOIO) - Browns president Mike Holmgren denied having any interest in coaching the Dallas Cowboys on Monday.
This past weekend, CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora reported Holmgren had an interest in coaching the Cowboys next season if Jason Garrett was fired.
Holmgren said Monday to reporters he wouldn't lobby for a job that wasn't open.
The team president will retire at the end of the season, but last month wouldn't rule out a return to the sideline.
The Browns play in Dallas on Sunday. Holmgren joked with reporters that he hopes to say "Hello" to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
