Berea (WOIO) - Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said he isn't sure if quarterback Brandon Weeden, who suffered a concussion against the Steelers, will take the field on Sunday when the Browns play Oakland.
Shurmur said he will know more on Wednesday when the team starts preparing for the Raiders. He also said the rookie is "fine" and at the team's training facility.
Weeden is going through the strict concussion protocol set forth by the league.
If he can't play, Colt McCoy will start in his place.
"I've got all the confidence in the world in Colt," Shurmur said. "He's handled his situation this year in a very positive way."
