The 20-year-old Cleveland mother charged with killing her young son was in court on Thursday.
Camilia Terry is charged with aggravated murder for the death of her son, 3-year-old Emilliano. Her bond was set at $2 million dollars.
According to the prosecutor, the little boy had a lacerated liver, fractured skull and other injuries. Investigators tell 19 Action News Emilliano was beaten to death.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner positively identified the little boy's body through DNA on Thursday morning.
The defense said Terry is grieving and is an emotional mess, and urged the court and public not to rush to judgement.
The little boy's body was found Monday evening at the Waste Management Facility in Oakwood Village. The boy's body was intact, but wrapped in a series of three garbage bags in a move, investigators say, to conceal the body.
Detectives are now trying to piece together when and where Emilliano was killed. His mother has stopped cooperating with police, and has a lawyer.
Terry's two other children - a five-year-old and an infant - are with Children Services.
Terry will be back in court next week.
