The Browns hadn't won a road game since Week 2 of last season when they beat Indianapolis. That streak ended on Sunday on with a 20-17 win in Oakland.
Brandon Weeden passed for 364 yards in the win, 116 of those were to Josh Gordon. Weeden and Gordon connected on a 44 yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to put the Browns up 10-0. They lead 13-3 in the third before Oakland made it interesting. Carson Palmer hit Rod Streater for a 64 yard touchdown pass trimming the lead to three.
Sheldon Brown turned in a huge play in the fourth quarter. With the score 13-10, and the Raiders driving, he intercepted Carson Palmer at the Browns six yard line. From there, the Browns went on a 14 play, 94 yard drive finished off by Trent Richardson's three yard scoring run to make it 20-10.
The Raiders added a touchdown with one second left in the game.
The Browns improve to 4-8, they host Kansas City next week.
