Westlake Man Locks Wife in Home, Getting Sunnier, Holiday Apps

An unruly man slapped with charges after making a strange attempt to keep his wife in their Westlake home. Police tell 19 Action News 55-year-old David Huffman had nailed a door shut at their Columbia Road home and would not let his wife leave. Huffman was combative during his arrest, and kicked and attempted to strike three officers. He was finally brought under control and taken to Westlake jail.  He faces charges of domestic violence, resisting an officer, simple assault on a police officer and unlawful restraint.

This morning's lake effect snow will bring little or no accumulation. As the afternoon progresses we'll see only gradual clearing that may offer a few glimpses of late day sunshine. Sunshine will dominate our weather from Tuesday through Friday.
