Done Deal: Indians trade Shin-Soo Choo to Cincinnati

The Cleveland Indians traded right fielder Shin-Soo Choo and utility player Jason Donald to Cincinnati and reliever Tony Sipp and infielder Lars Anderson to Arizona for four players.

The Indians acquired center fielder Drew Stubbs from Cincinnati and pitchers Trevor Bauer, Bryan Shaw and Matt Albers from Arizona.

Stubbs, 28, is a career .241 with 59 homers, 178 RBI's, 110 stolen bases in 486 career games. The center fielder recorded at least 30 stolen bases for the third consecutive season in 2012, becoming one of just 6 Major League players to do so over the span since 2010.

Bauer, 21, was the third overall selection by Arizona in the 2011 First-Year Player Draft out of UCLA.  Named the ninth overall prospect in Minor League Baseball entering 2012, Trevor spent most of the 2012 season between Double-A Mobile and Triple-A Reno where he went a combined 12-2 with a 2.42 ERA in 22 starts and averaged 10.8 strikeouts per 9.0IP.

Albers, 29, split the 2012 season between the Boston Red Sox and Arizona, going a combined 3-1 with a 2.39 ERA in 63 relief appearances.

Shaw, 25, spent most of the 2012 season in the Arizona bullpen where he went 1-6 with 2 saves and a 3.49 ERA in 64 relief appearances.

Choo hit .283 this season for the Indians with 16 homers and 67 RBI's in 155 games.  He is expected to move to centerfield with the Reds.
